First, this Friday-Sunday I will be in Miami for LibertyCon, an international gathering of activists and freedom fighters pushing back against authoritarianism and collectivist movements worldwide. It’s always a great time. I’ll be moderating a debate on NATO and hosting a panel called Profiles In Tyranny: Magneto, Thanos, and Darth Vader.

The topic of the discussion will be how these popular characters embody the “righteous mind,” so often connected to villainy. There’s a lot to be learned about freedom/tyranny from Magneto, Thanos, and Darth Vader.

I'm also going to begin a new tradition for our Paid Subscribers: First Fridays Lunch! I used to do something like this for Patrons of my podcast, and it was always such a delightful time. On the first Friday of every month, I will have a Zoom Room open for Paid Subs at 12:30PM EST (so morning coffee if you’re out West) to hang out, meet, chat, discuss the issues or whatever is going on the world.

I personally prefer lunch hangouts on a weekday to after-hours stuff. We’re all busy, but in theory, almost all of us take a lunch break. Paid Subscribers should expect an email from me this week about getting this new perk started.
