I mentioned a week or so ago that I ventured to Las Vegas for a conference and book signing. That talk that I gave in front of a few hundred folks is now up. I’d love if you would watch it and let me know what you think. The lecture is called Life, Liberty & Darth Vader, and is based on my thesis that a majority of people (when pushed) are not gung-hoe advocates of “democracy.” Call it shaken faith, post-pandemic, and post-insurrection, but I don’t see the world quite the same as I did in say 2019. This talk is about Star Wars’ core message, which is that mere good intentions are not sufficient to achieve positive ends in life, love, and especially no politics/government. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Now I have not seen this film, it comes out tomorrow on (drumroll)…Hulu. But if you’re a fan of The Predator franchise, you should know there’s a new installment about to drop. “Prey” depicts a Comanche warrior (Amber Midthunder) protecting her land and tribe from the alien beast we all know as Predator, from the 1987 Schwarzenegger hit. I’ll be watching and taking notes for This Is The Way.
